Lotus Emira At the time of writing this (2020) Lotus has just announced that 2021 will be the final production year of the Elise and Exige. A new series of sports cars is confirmed, with prototype production of the Lotus Type 131 to commence in 2021 from a world-class manufacturing facility in Hethel, Norfolk.
