Lotus LMP2 will race in FIA World Endurance Championship

Lotus announces to participate in the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The deadline for the Championship registration ended yesterday and the squad has submitted the entry for two cars for the FIA World Endurance Championship and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Furthermore the team confirms that the German Thomas Holzer and the American Kevin Weeda will lead the driver’s line up. Both of them were competing for Lotus in the previous year and gained a lot of experience in endurance racing.

After a successful first season in FIA WEC, the team will compete in LMP2 class with two brand-new Lotus T128 in 2013. The new car will be presented to the public in the next few weeks.
