Lotus Sport Exige 240R (Type 111) period: 2005 engine: 1794 cc Toyota VVTL-i / 243 bhp , Eaton Supercharger # made: 50 This is a limited production, 50 cars worldwide, 40 cars for Europe and 10 for the Japanese market. This car has interior trim in black with Lotus Sport Yellow
highlights in leather. A numbered Lotus Sport build plate is fitted
to the aluminium chassis member on the passenger side. The interior
also includes sports seats, driver and passenger four-point
harnesses which are fitted to a cross bar that is part of the
motorsport specification T45 roll bar. New lightweight five spoke
forged alloy wheels are of a slightly wider section to the standard
Exige wheel to accommodate the optional extra track only
specification slick tyres as well as the Yokohama A048 tyres, which
come as standard. These wheels are painted in "Satin Black" for the
Sport Yellow painted version of the Lotus Sport Exige 240R and "High
Power Silver" for the Sport Black painted version. |

Lotus Exige Sprint (Type 111) period: 2008 Just 40 right hand drive Lotus Exige Sprints where made and for sale in the UK and Ireland in a duo-tone paint scheme of Aspen White on the lower portion of the body and a choice of Solar Yellow or Persian Blue on the upper portion of the body. The two colours are separated by a gold stripe bearing the name Exige Sprint on the doors on either side of the car. The Lotus Exige Sprint includes as standard, ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels, air conditioning, Sport Pack, Touring Pack and the newly available Performance Pack giving phenomenal acceleration of zero to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds (estimated), reaching 100 mph in just another 6 seconds (estimated) before topping out at 146 mph. Lotus Exige S Type 72 (Type 111) period: 2009 engine: 1796 cc Toyota VVTL-i DHOC / 240 bhp # made: 20 The Exige S Type 72 celebrates the classic Type 72 Formula 1 car, various
iterations of which achieved 20 Grand Prix victories between 1970 and 1974
while driven by such Lotus greats as Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi,
Ronnie Peterson and Mario Andretti. Based on the Exige S this special
edition features Sport Pack, bespoke interior trim, gold detail exterior

vehicle which effectively formed the prototype for the Exige, this special
edition celebrates 10 years of Lotus Sport. With Performance Pack as
standard this Exige S makes use of carbon fibre exterior components,
including front splitter, side pods and rear wing. To tie in with this
milestone a production run of 10 cars, one for each year, was planned with a

Exige R-GT This is the rally version of the new Exige S and is
powered by the same V6 3.5 litre engine as the new road Exige, significant
changes have been made to the gearbox and the restrictors on the engine in
order to control the power. Lotus will initially partner with several
customer teams following the tried and tested method in which Lotus entered

Track only version of the Exige Sport 380. Weight reduced from 1066 kg to 998 kg. No headlights, airbags, glass windows and a proper instrument cluster. Downforce has increased to 240kg total at 170mph, with extra vents in the
front bodywork and rear bumper reducing pressure around the wheels, and

Exige 70th Anniversary period : 2018 # made: 40 maximum (limited edition) Production of the Lotus Exige 70th Edition was limited to 40 examples and it was available in either 350 Sport or 380 Sport guise. Buyers had the choice between three colour schemes: Empire Green, Essex Blue and Monaco White. Inside, ‘Lotus 70’ has been stitched into the headrests, in red, of the alcantara bucket seats, the same wording is stickered down the side of the car, ahead of the rear wheel arch. |
