This website has the purpose to collect Lotus information and news about Lotus Cars and to share this information. From Lotus Super Seven to 3 Eleven, from Lotus Elite to Emira, you will find Lotus cars related information here on this website. Lotus enthusiasts will allways be looking for information on Lotus cars, books, brochures, modelcars and so on. It happened to me when I was infected with the Lotus virus and it will happen to you! We want to know more! I hope to help you find what you are looking for.

In 1991, Ronald Ringma and the late Eugène van Herpen created a small book called 'The Lotus Drivers Guide'. This could be used by Lotus owners who were travelling and in need for information about the nearest dealer or repair shop. Mind you, we did actually visit all the mentioned adresses!

Later, it must have been the year 2003, I decided to go digital and the result is what you are looking at now. Not yet finished, in fact never finished, but already a lot of information about Lotus Cars and related items. I have kept the original name but now want to offer the viewer every information about Lotus that I believe can be interesting. On the News page you will find the latest changes to this website. As the worldwide web is providing us with news as it happens I like to consider my website as a collection of Lotus related information, not really a news website.

I hope you will enjoy looking at the Lotus Drivers Guide web pages this !

Latest update: 13-10-2024

You may have noticed that the updates are not as regular as these used to be. The reason is that after 20 years or so of working on this website the Worldwide Web is providing everybody with up-to-date information so I consider my website no longer as a news medium but more as a place were you can find information. Also older information is kept online here.
